The Minister of Finance and the Governor of the Central Bank of El Salvador confirmed to the international monetary fund (IMF) that since the signing of the financing agreement in February 2025, the government has not purchased bitcoin, the existing amount of bitcoin has remained unchanged, and the relevant wallet address has been provided to the IMF for monitoring.
