On July 18th, it was learned from JD.com Coin Chain Technology that someone had recently impersonated JD.com and released a digital currency named JD-HKD on mainstream trading platforms to deceive customers into engaging in transactions. These deceptive acts not only damaged the legitimate rights and interests of JD.com Coin Chain Technology, but also caused damage to users participating in transactions. JD.com Coin Chain Technology has communicated with mainstream trading platforms to remove relevant digital currencies and issued an announcement to remind users. JD.com Coin Chain Technology said that as a participant in the sandbox of stablecoin issuers of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, it fully followed the process of Hong Kong's regulatory guidance. Before obtaining the Hong Kong stablecoin issuer license, all coins issued with the words JD.com stablecoin, JD-HKD, JD-USD, etc. to attract users to buy, and coins issued under the guise of JD.com or JD.com partners are scams. JD.com will also not issue any governance tokens other than JD.com stablecoins.
