The Washington Post: More than a fifth of Trump administration senior officials and nominees hold cryptocurrencies

According to the Washington Post, nearly 70 Trump administration officials and nominees held investments in cryptocurrencies or blockchain companies at the time of their appointments, accounting for more than one-fifth of the senior nominees. Trump himself holds at least $5.10 million in crypto assets, while Vice President JD Vance and seven cabinet members or nominees collectively hold at least $2 million in cryptocurrency investments.
The analysis revealed that Trump administration officials and nominees reported crypto assets totaling at least $193 million, including cryptocurrency holdings and investments in crypto or blockchain companies.
