According to Bloomberg, the attack on the exchange Bybit by the North Korean hacking group Lazarus Group resulted in the theft of about $1.50 billion, bringing the total amount of cryptocurrency theft in the first half of 2025 to $2.17 billion, already exceeding the level for the whole of 2024.
