Illegal theft of rare earths in our country, national security organs resolutely cut off

On July 18th, according to the Ministry of State Security, in recent years, foreign spy intelligence agencies and their agents have attempted to collude against domestic criminals and steal rare earth-related items in China by means of delivery, which has caused serious harm to our national security. A country cannot produce and purify rare metals independently, but in order to ensure its domestic supply of rare metals, it has been hoarding related items through various channels and means. The work of the national security organs found that on the one hand, contractors in a key field in the country illegally transported rare earths and other export-controlled items out of our country by changing the packaging and forging "non-Chinese origin" labels; on the other hand, they attempted to illegally export rare earths and other export-controlled items out of our country by falsely reporting the content of the ingredients, falsely reporting the name of the product, and changing the transportation channels. After obtaining conclusive evidence, the national security organs, together with relevant departments, took actions in accordance with the law to cut off the illegal exit channels for rare earth-related items, effectively safeguarding the security of our resources and national security.
