According to CCTV news, Slutsky, chairperson of the International Affairs Committee of the Russian State Duma (lower house of parliament), said in response to the remarks of US officials that NATO's attack on Kaliningrad would lead to Russia's response, including nuclear means. On the same day, Muratov, a member of the Defense and Security Committee of the Russian Federation Council (upper house of parliament), also said that NATO must understand that any attack on Russian territory will have extremely serious consequences.
