Cryptocurrency trading platform Coinbase on Wednesday announced the launch of its "everything app" - the "Base App" - aimed at attracting more users to the crypto economy. The new app, which replaces Coinbase Wallet, integrates wallet, trading and payment functions, as well as social media, instant messaging and Mini Program support, all running on its self-developed Ethereum two-layer network Base. For Coinbase, the move is intended to break through the limitations of its core cryptocurrency trading business and reach a wider community of wold-be users.
