Bitlayer Releases Latest Product Roadmap, Committed to Building the Ultimate Bitcoin DeFi Infrastructure

On July 16th, Bitlayer, a project focusing on Bitcoin DeFi infrastructure, officially released its summer conference video. The conference was themed "The Ultimate Bitcoin DeFi Infrastructure". Project co-founders Kevin He and Charlie Hu systematically disclosed the latest technical progress and detailed product roadmap of Bitlayer for the first time, clarifying its goal of building the ultimate BTCFi infrastructure.
According to the information disclosed at the press conference, the key progress Bitlayer has made recently includes:
1. BitVM Bridge mainnet beta version launched: After more than half a year of internal beta and public beta, the first Bitcoin cross-chain solution based on the BitVM paradigm, BitVM Bridge mainnet beta version, was officially launched;
2. Release the Bitlayer Network 2.0 white paper: The team officially released the Bitlayer Network 2.0 white paper, marking that the Bitlayer Network will enter the Rollup architecture stage.
3. Bitlayer Network V3 will focus on high-performance execution: The core goal of V3 is to solve the high-performance execution challenges of Bitcoin Layer 2 network, and is committed to achieving: customizable high-performance native transaction engine, horizontally scalable cluster system architecture, EVM-compatible high-performance parallel execution engine, and provide CEX-level user experience.
So far, Bitlayer has received a total of 25 million US dollars in financing, and the investor lineup is strong, including Polychain Capital, Franklin Templeton, ABCDE, StarkWare, OKX Ventures, Alliance DAO and UTXO Management, etc., providing a solid foundation for the continuous research and development of the project and ecological construction.
