According to Yonhap News Agency, the candidate for the National Revenue Agency, Ren Guanghyun, said at the personnel hearing of the National Assembly Planning and Finance Committee that he will strengthen the crackdown on tax evasion using new transaction methods such as virtual assets. Lin Guanghyun stressed that he will establish and improve the information collection system of virtual asset transactions to deal with new tax evasion methods in advance.
He also plans to prevent anti-social overseas tax evasion and loss of national wealth by expanding tax information exchange with foreign countries and diversifying overseas information collection channels. In addition, Lin Guangxuan said that he will use artificial intelligence technology to upgrade the tax evasion detection system, automatically extract tax evasion suspects by analyzing basic data such as financial statements, and take resolute measures against stock price manipulation, controlling shareholders' flexible capital transactions, and illegal personal gain.
