Hong Kong stocks opened, China Merchants Securities rose sharply to HK $18.68 and then fell back, now trading at HK $15.96. China Merchants Bank International was officially approved by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission on July 14, becoming the first Chinese bank securities firm in Hong Kong to obtain a license for virtual asset trading services.
