Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, said that META will invest hundreds of billions of dollars in the field of artificial intelligence. SemiAnalysis just analyzed that Meta is expected to be the first lab to bring a 1GW + super cluster online. Zuckerberg also said that Meta Superintelligence Labs will have industry-leading computing levels and is by far the lab with the strongest computing power per researcher. Zuckerberg also revealed that Meta is actually building several multi-GW clusters, the first one is called Prometheus, which will come online in 2026; Meta is also building Hyperion, which will be able to scale to 5GW in a few years.
