European Union and Indonesia Reach Political Agreement to Advance Free Trade Agreement

Von der Leyen, president of the European Union Commission, said on Sunday that a political agreement had been reached to move forward with a free trade agreement between the European Union and Indonesia. "There is still a lot of untapped potential in our trade relationship, so this agreement comes at the right time and this new agreement will open up new markets," Mr. Von der Leyen said at a press conference with Indonesia's president.
