Trump leaves room for further tariff adjustments

The European Union has been trying to reach an interim deal with the United States to avoid higher tariffs, but Trump's letter dashed the European Union's recent optimism. However, Trump does leave room for further adjustments. Brian Jacobson, chief economist at Annex Wealth Management, wrote that, like the previous letter, there are many conditions and terms that could reduce these tariffs, which is probably why the market may not like the tariff talks, but it is not panicking about them either.
