On July 12, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the SCO member states will be held in Tianjin on July 15. At the invitation of Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Foreign Minister, foreign ministers of other SCO member states and heads of SCO permanent institutions will attend the meeting. All parties will confer on SCO cooperation in various fields and major international and regional issues. Among them, Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar will also visit China in conjunction with the meeting.
