Nasdaq-listed GameSquare announced that it has spent $5 million to buy 1,818.84 ETH to support its Ethereum treasury, which it previously announced will be built in phases totaling up to $100 million. As an initial funding arrangement, the company will issue 8,421,054 shares of common stock or its equivalent securities at $0.95 per share, with proceeds raised before fees expected to be approximately $8 million.
