Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin market cap breaks through $500 million

Ripple-issued US dollar stablecoin RLUSD has surpassed $500 million in circulation in seven months. According to CoinGecko, the product is issued on XRPLedger and Ethereum and ranks among the top 20 US dollar stablecoins with a daily trading volume of around $26 million. Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin launched in December 2024. It is pegged 1:1 to the US dollar and is backed by cash, cash equivalents and short-term US Treasury bills.
