On July 9, Yuan Da, secretary-general of the National Development and Reform Commission, said at the first press conference of the "High-quality completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan" held by the State Council Information Office on July 9 that from 2021 to 2024, China's economy maintained an average annual growth rate of 5.5%, of which the average contribution rate of domestic demand to economic growth was 86.4%, and the average contribution rate of final consumption to China's economic growth reached 56.2%, an increase of 8.6 percentage points over the "13th Five-Year Plan" period.
