Trump said on Tuesday that he had approved shipments of U.S. defensive weapons to Ukraine and was considering additional sanctions against Moscow, underscoring his frustration with Russian President Vladimir Putin over the mounting death toll in the conflict. Trump, who campaigned for president on a promise to end the war in a day, has failed to deliver on that promise and his administration has done little to broker peace. Trump directed his ire at Putin during a meeting with cabinet officials at the White House on Tuesday. "I'm not happy with Putin. That's all I can tell you right now," Trump said.
