Commerce Secretary: 15 to 20 trade letters expected in the next two days

Mr. Lutnik, the commerce secretary, said a number of countries had made proposals to open their markets. I expect 15 to 20 trade letters to be sent out over the next two days. The tariffs on copper will be implemented in late July or August 1. Mr. Trump's proposed 50 per cent tariffs on copper are aimed at bringing copper production back home.
