Cryptocurrency funding surges to $10 billion in Q2 2025, new high since early 2022

Cryptocurrency venture capital reached $10.03 billion in Q2 2025, the highest since early 2022, with $5.14 billion raised in June. Strive Funds, an asset management firm founded by US entrepreneur and politician Vivek Ramaswamy, received $750 million in May to build an "alpha coefficient generation" strategy by buying bitcoin. Twenty One Capital raised $585 million in April, making it the second largest fundraising project of the quarter. Securitize ranked third in Q2 2025 with $400 million, followed by Kalshi ($185 million), Auradine ($153 million), Zen MEV ($140 million) and Digital Asset ($135 million).
