On July 8th, starting from the early morning of Beijing time on the 8th, Trump announced his tariff letters to a number of countries one after another on social media. As of press time, he has issued the latest tariff rate threats to 14 countries. Among them, Japan, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Malaysia and Tunisia face a tariff rate of 25%; South Africa, Bosnia 30%; Indonesia 32%; Bangladesh and Serbia 35%; Thailand and Cambodia 36%; Laos and Myanmar 40%. The above tariffs will take effect on August 1.
