Hong Kong Securities Supervision Commission holds second digital assets advisory group meeting

The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) today held its second Digital Asset Advisory Group meeting. The meeting with licensed virtual asset trading platforms covered a wide range of market and regulatory developments in the digital asset space in Hong Kong, in particular Pillar A (Access Connectivity) and Pillar P (Products) in the ASPIRe Roadmap of the SSC, including the proposed introduction of a regulatory regime for virtual asset trading services and custodian service providers, as well as measures for market participation and product offerings.
