CoinShares released its latest weekly report showing that digital asset investment products recorded inflows of $1.04 billion last week, the 12th consecutive week of inflows, and the total inflows are now at $18 billion. Prices rose this week, pushing total assets under management (AuM) to a record high of $188 billion. Trading volume reached $16.30 billion, the same as the weekly average so far this year.
Inflows into bitcoin investment products reached $790 million last week, a slowdown from an average of $1.50 billion in the previous three weeks. The slowdown in inflows indicates that investors are becoming more cautious as bitcoin prices approach all-time highs. Ethereum recorded inflows for the 11th consecutive week, adding $226 million last week, bringing the total amount of funds in the period to $2.85 million. Proportionally, weekly inflows during this period averaged 1.6% of asset management (AuM), well above Bitcoin's 0.8%, highlighting a clear shift in investor sentiment towards Ethereum.
