Opinion: Musk's "American Party" needs to meet basic federal requirements for the formation of new political parties

The requirements include two major aspects: one is to have enough party members and enough supporters; the other is to exceed a certain limit of funds. After these conditions are met, it needs to be registered with the U.S. Election Commission. After the registration is successful, the party can be officially established. At the same time, if the newly formed party wants to participate in state elections in the future, it also needs to meet the different requirements of each state.
