Metaplanet founder, Sora Ventures and UTXO team up with Kliff Capital to acquire Thai listed company

On July 3rd, a global consortium led by the strategic parties of Japanese listed company Metaplanet announced today that it will acquire Thai listed company DV8 through a voluntary tender offer (VTO). The transaction was driven by leading investors and strategic investors in the bitcoin space, including UTXO Management (a fund of 210k Capital), Kliff Capital, Sora Ventures, Metaplanet founder Simon Gerovich, Moon Inc., AsiaStrategy, and Mythos Group. The cross-border transaction marks an important moment for the Thai capital markets, bringing together for the first time bitcoin treasury companies listed in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and the United States, as well as institutional investors from the United States, Hong Kong, Thailand, and other places.
