According to Chad Pergram, a Fox News reporter, unannounced members of the House Liberal Caucus are edging closer to a deal that would prompt those who have not yet voted to vote in favor and could "switch support" to dissenting members.
"I think we're getting very close to some sort of resolution," said Tim Burchett, a Republican congressman from Tennessee who himself had not voted at the time. He said they did not even have time for a nap in the process. One Republican source said a deal was expected within hours.
