On July 3rd, the recently released June Caixin China Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) recorded 50.4, higher than 2.1 percentage points last month, the same as in April; Caixin China Service PMI fell 0.5 percentage points to 50.6, the lowest since the fourth quarter of 2024. The rebound in manufacturing sentiment was significantly higher than the decline in the service industry, driving the June Caixin China Composite PMI up 1.7 percentage points to 51.3, returning to the expansion range. In June, supply and demand expanded again, employment continued to decline, and enterprise costs were relatively stable, but sales prices continued to decline, and enterprise confidence fell. In the second half of the year, the downward pressure on the economy may increase. Pay attention to the implementation of the previous incremental policy and the possibility of policy up the ante.
