The Bosera HashKey Bitcoin ETF and Bosera HashKey Ethereum ETF ("ETF") were officially launched on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange today. For the ETFs, Bosera Asset Management (International) Limited and HashKey Capital Limited serve as investment managers and sub-investment managers respectively. The ETFs are part of the first Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs to be launched in major Asian financial centres and are currently traded under the ticker symbol BTC: 3008.HK (HKD); 9008.HK (USD) and Ethereum: 3009.HK (HKD); 9009.HK (USD) respectively.
One of the key features of these ETFs is that they introduce a "physical" subscription mechanism that allows investors to subscribe to ETF shares directly using Bitcoin and Ethereum. Investors can buy ETFs with Bitcoin or Ethereum and sell them for cash, or vice versa, enabling seamless two-way investment flexibility.
