ZachXBT pointed out in a post that, despite Circle's constant emphasis on compliance, the USDC stablecoin has actually become the main infrastructure for North Korean IT workers to make payments. He said Circle is currently not taking any measures to detect or freeze these suspicious activities, and said he could point to the recent high volume of 8-digit dollars.
