The FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) and the Department of Justice have announced a nationwide crackdown on North Korea's efforts to defraud U.S. businesses through remote IT work, including the arrest of a U.S. citizen suspected of providing "laptop farms" to North Korean operatives. Among them, 29 bank accounts were seized, 21 fake websites were shut down, more than 200 devices were seized, more than $900,000 in stolen cryptocurrency, and more than 100 U.S. companies were infiltrated.
