Trump's tariffs and trade tensions remain the main risks for Asia, Capital Economics economists said in a note. Vietnam will be the most vulnerable because it is most dependent on final demand from the United States, they added. They expect GDP growth to slow slightly in much of Asia this year. With sluggish economic growth and low inflation, further interest rate cuts are likely in much of Asia in the coming months.
