U.S. stocks close: three major stock indexes rise, Microsoft, Meta, Netflix all hit new highs

On July 1, the U.S. stock market closed on Monday, with the Dow initially closing up 0.6%, the S & P 500 index rose 0.5%, and the Nasdaq index rose 0.47%. The latter two hit record closing highs. Tesla (TSLA. O) fell 1.8%, Apple (AAPL. O) rose 2%, Microsoft (MSFT. O), Meta (META. O), and Netflix (NFLX. O) all hit record highs during the session, closing within 1%. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon index closed down 0.49%, and the shell (BEKE. N) fell more than 4%.
