The three major U.S. stock indexes collectively closed higher

The three major indices of US stocks collectively closed higher. The Dow rose 0.63%, the Nasdaq rose 0.47%, and the S & P 500 rose 0.52%. The latter two hit record closing highs. US stocks ended the first half of the year, the Nasdaq rose 5.48% in the first half of the year, the Dow rose 3.64%, and the S & P 500 rose 5.5%. Technology stocks collectively rose today. Microsoft, Meta, and Netflix all closed slightly higher and hit intraday record highs. Apple closed up 2%. Robinhood closed up 13%, its best one-day performance since April 9.
