Terraform Labs Lawyers Propose $1 million Fine in SEC Case

Lawyers representing Terraform Labs filed a motion to oppose the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) demand that Terraform Labs and its co-founder Do Kwon hand over $5.30 billion in fines and impose civil penalties. In an April 26 filing with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Terraform's legal team recommended that the court impose a civil penalty of up to $1 million after a jury found the platform and Kwon liable for fraud.
