According to Gemini's official X platform, the cryptocurrency exchange Gemini has launched a tokenized stock service in the European Union. Users can now buy tokenized MicroStrategy (MSTR) shares on the Gemini platform and transfer them freely on the chain.
Gemini says it partners with leading providers of tokenized U.S. public securities to provide customers with greater liquidity, transparency, and the same economic rights as the underlying securities (where permitted).
The tokenization of MSTR shares is just the beginning, Gemini plans to launch more tokenized shares and ETF products in the coming days. The service is currently only available to customers in the European Union region.
