The three major indices of US stocks collectively closed higher. The Nasdaq rose 0.97%, the Dow rose 0.94%, and the S & P 500 index rose 0.8%. Among them, the Nasdaq and S & P 500 indices both reached record highs. Most of the large technology stocks rose, Netflix, Amazon, and Meta rose more than 2%, Microsoft, Google, and Intel rose more than 1%, and Nvidia rose slightly; Apple and Tesla fell slightly. AeroVironment Inc. (AVAV), a development company for unmanned aircraft piloting systems (UAS), rose about 16% to a record closing high. Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase rose more than 5.5%, setting a new closing high since 2021. Core Scientific Inc. (CORZ), an operator of large-scale digital asset casting facilities, rose more than 33%, its best one-day performance in the past year.
