According to Decrypt, the Australian Securities and Exchange Commission (ASIC) has appointed a panel of three experts to investigate the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
The investigation stems from the ASX abandoning its seven-year, $163.10 million blockchain project to replace its CHESS clearing system. The group, led by veteran banker Rob Whitfield, has until March 31 to submit a report to ASIC.
