Kraken obtains MiCA license to provide compliance crypto services across the European Union

According to Cointelegraph, crypto trading platform Kraken has announced that it has received a MiCA license from the Central Bank of Ireland to provide compliance crypto services in 30 member states of the European Union. This is another key compliance milestone for Kraken, following the acquisition of an e-money institution license in 2023 and a MiFID license in February 2025.
