According to Nansen data, USDT, USDC and DAI have all traded more over the past 30 days than Visa's average monthly transaction volume last year. USDT's transaction volume over the past 30 days was $654 billion, while DAI's transaction volume was over $394 billion and USDC's transaction volume was $321 billion.
"The total transaction volume of these three stablecoins is $1.369 trillion, which is higher than Visa's monthly average transaction volume in 2023," Nansen said. This compares to Visa's monthly average of $14.80 trillion transaction volume for the full year of 2023, which is $1.23 trillion.
