Sixty Six Capital, a Canadian-listed company, announced the purchase of 18.2 bitcoins. The company previously held 113 bitcoins through a bitcoin ETF, but will convert these ETF shares into direct holdings of bitcoin.
The company also announced a private placement to raise up to $2.50 million to further increase its bitcoin holdings.
