On June 25, US President Trump met with Ukrainian President Zelensky on the sidelines of the NATO summit in The Hague, the Netherlands. According to Zelensky's social media post, the two sides discussed issues such as the ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. But Trump denied to the media that he had discussed the ceasefire with Zelensky, saying that he would hold another call with Russian President Vladimir Putin to see if the war could be ended. Trump also said at a press conference after the meeting with Zelensky that Ukraine very much wants to obtain the "Patriot" air defense missile system, and the United States will consider whether to provide it to Ukraine. However, he believes that it may be difficult for Ukraine to obtain the "Patriot" missile, because the United States also needs it.
