Institutional survey: US bond market turmoil has become the top risk

Turbulence in the US Treasury market has emerged as the top risk, according to a survey of in-house strategists and portfolio managers by Natixis Investment Management, with 85 per cent of strategists surveyed citing it as a moderate to high concern. Two-thirds (62 per cent) of European strategists believe Treasury investments are no longer as safe as they used to be, compared with only a quarter (24 per cent) of US strategists.
