Cryptocurrency investor Anthony Pompliano-backed ProCap Financial announced that it has closed over $750 million, including a $235 million convertible bond, and will go public through a special acquisition company (SPAC) formed in partnership with Columbus Circle Capital Corp. The company aims to hold up to $1 billion in bitcoin on its balance sheet and generate revenue through a full-stack, bitcoin-denominated financial services platform.
