On April 29, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian presided over a regular press conference. Lin Jian said that China firmly opposes this and has lodged stern representations with the US. The bill seriously violates China's sovereignty, calls for providing a large amount of military assistance to Taiwan, and seriously violates the one-China principle and the three Sino-US joint communiques.
