Elliptic partners with the Internet Watch Foundation to crack down on cryptocurrency funding of child sexual abuse content

Blockchain intelligence firm Elliptic has officially become a member of the Internet Watch Foundation, stepping up its campaign against the funding of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) through cryptocurrency. The partnership will give Elliptic access to several of IWF's services, including the Virtual Currency Real-Time Alert System, which provides data on cryptocurrency transactions involving the purchase of child sexual abuse content, identifying relevant payment networks and wallet addresses. By integrating these real-time alerts, Elliptic aims to help its customers block child abuse-related transactions.
