Senior Iranian official: European powers' proposals in Geneva are unrealistic

On June 21, a senior Iranian official said that the discussions and proposals made by European powers to Iran in Geneva on Iran's nuclear program were unrealistic, stressing that they would not bring the two sides any closer to a deal. "In any case, Iran will review the European proposals in Tehran and present its response at the next meeting," the official said. He added that zero (uranium) enrichment is a dead end and Iran will not negotiate over its defense capabilities, including its missile program.
