On June 21, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in the European Union issued a statement on the 21st saying that on June 20, the European Commission announced that after the first investigation of the International Procurement Instrument (IPI), Chinese enterprises were excluded from participating in relevant public procurement in the European Union, and the proportion of products and parts from China in the winning bidding projects should not exceed 50%. < b > The Chinese Chamber of Commerce in the European Union expressed its firm opposition to this unilateral protectionist practice of the European side and the unfair discriminatory measures taken by the European side against Chinese enterprises. The Chinese Chamber of Commerce in the European Union believes that the results of the European IPI investigation are not fair, and its conclusion that "most of the Chinese medical public procurement market excludes or discriminates against medical apparatus and European Union suppliers manufactured in the European Union" is not realistic. In addition, China and the European Union and other trading partners have been consulting on GPA and public procurement issues for a long time, and the two-way communication channels have always been open. Against this background, the European side chose to take unilateral measures hastily, which greatly disappointed the industry.
