Peter Schiff, a gold advocate and economist, tweeted: "There is a lot of upside for silver right now, but very little downside. If someone is looking for an alternative to gold, it makes no sense to buy bitcoin when you can buy silver. Silver has much higher upside potential than bitcoin, and much less downside risk."
