The Sei Network, a Layer 1 blockchain project, said in a post on the X platform that it has been selected as a candidate blockchain for WYST by the Wyoming Stable Token Council. WYST is a stablecoin launched by the state and will be deployed using LayerZero. The testnet has been launched. At this stage, the supported blockchains include Avalanche, Solana, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism and Polygon. This selection means that Sei Network will develop into a "currency blockchain".
