The European Union Commission said on Thursday it was seeking more information from Musk's X platform about changes to its corporate structure, after artificial intelligence company xAI completed its acquisition of X for $33 billion. A spokesperson for the European Union stressed: We are closely monitoring changes in the corporate structure of the X platform, as we do with other designated platforms.
In July last year, the European Union initially found that the X platform had "deceptive design" violations, including changing the blue V certification to a paid service, which distorted user credibility. To avoid penalties, the X platform added a blue V logo disclaimer this month.
